Man I first bumped into this band while seeing them open for The Band of Skulls in 2014 or 15 if memory serves. They were at the time touring under the name of Boom Chick. As time passed they played a show with my own band Brother O Brother here in Indianapolis. The label was in its infancy at the time but we discussed doing a release together, I was such a fan. Time passed, music came to be and we were lucky enough to put out their final LP “Stay Wild Gator Child” in 2018. Elements of surf, fuzz, and king gizz inspired psych bits meld their way through this great LP. The final song is even a twangy western piece. A great band, bitten by the very Gator they raised. - Romanus
